Eldar and Leah Maternity - Эльдар и Лия Материнство

Eldar is one of my favorite photographers, and he lives right here in the Caucasus. His wife is pregnant, and they are expecting almost exactly the same week that we are. I asked him to do a photoshoot of Lisah and myself in exchange for a photoshoot of him and his wife. I shot their wedding last summer, and I can say that they are some of the most photogenic people ever.

Элдар один из моих самых любимых фотографов, и он живет здесь на Кавказе. Его жена беременная, и они тоже ожидает ребенка в Ноябре (у нас родится в Ноябре). Я попросил его нас фотографировать и я их сфотографирую. Я снимал их свадьбу прошлим летом, и они очень фотогеничные.

Kids Fun - Дети веселятся

September is a great time for portraits and fun with kids. These are pics from the yard in front of a big apartment building in our city where kids gathered for some fun and games.

A Wedding of Smiles - Свадьба Улывки

Rustam (the groom in these pics) is one of my good buddies. He's a jokester and a little crazy, and his new bride is a beautiful pair for him. This was basically a wedding of lots of laughter. We caught some of those moments on film. I, of course, didn't take the picture of me and my wife doing national dance.

Рустам (жених) один из моих хороших друзей. Он очень шутливый и чуть-чуть сумасшедший :), и его новая жена очень хорошая пара для него. На этой свадьбе, вообше была радость и они много рас смеялись. Я сниал несколько из этих моментов. Конечно, я не снял фотку себя с Лисой.

Elbrus from Cheget - Эльбрус с Чегета

These pics are from a couple of weeks ago when I was on the mountain of Cheget and took pics of the sunset and sunrise on Elbrus. This was before I climbed the mountain. You can imagine that looking at the majesty of this peak I was pretty stoked about getting to the top of it. And as I mentioned earlier, the next week, I went to the top.

Я снял эти фотки где-то две неделе назад когда я был на горе Чегете. Это рассвет и закат не Эльбрусе. Это было перед тем как я поднялся на нее. Ты можешь представить себя что когда я смотрел на красоту этой вершины, я так сильно хотел ее покорить. Kак я раньше сказал, я потом ее покорил.

A Crystal Clean River - Чистая Река

Ever since I moved to the Caucasus, I noticed that glacial minerals have turned most of our mountain rivers a brownish color, which is not really great for photos. We went with several guys backpacking up into a valley in the Upper Chegem Valley and found this beautiful clear river. I took as many photos as possible of it, and even tried to do some fly fishing (unsuccessfully).

После того как я приехал на Кавказ, я заметил, что в основном реки здесь коричневые из-за минералов от ледников. Это вообше не хорошо для фоток. Мы с друзьями пошли в поход в Чегемском ущелье и нашли очень красивую реку. Я сделал много кадров этой реки и даже пытался ловить там рыбу, но ничего не поймал.

A Summer Wedding - Летная Свадьба

Photographing this couple was a lot of fun. I enjoyed following the bride around and looking for ways to accent her traditional clothing. Since the wedding was done very traditionally, the bride and groom were separate for almost the entire time. I was running around from upstairs to downstairs, trying not to miss any key moments. I got the bride and groom together for about fifteen minutes, and I was able to get a couple great moments of them starting their lives together.

Это было очень весело фотографировать эту пару. Мне было интересно ходить за невестой. Я искал интересные моменты для того чтобы лучше передать национальное платье. Из-за того что свадьба сделана очень традиционная, невеста и жених почти всегда были врозь. Мне пришлось подниматься и спускаться по лестнице много раз, стараясь нечего не пропустить. Я делал фотосессию всего лишь пятнадцать минут и успел отснять их счастье.

Elbrus - Эльбрус

I climbed to the summit of Mt. Elbrus on Friday. It was my second attempt. The winds were so high that I only took about five pictures. This was my favorite.
